A Fine Day for a White Wedding
It's not everyday that your best friend gets married. Heber's pal, Steve, had his big day last Thursday. Naturally, Heber and I took off from work and spent a day or two participating in wedding festivities.
Steve and Heb have been friends since middle school and had more adventures together than I even know. He has been a good friend and has even been willing to hang out with us as a third wheel, thanks Steve!
It was really special to watch Steve and Heidi be sealed together in the Salt Lake Temple. It reminded me of my own special day. The whole experience made me so appreciate Heber, temples, the covenants that are made there and the blessings that are promised.
There have been so many changes lately that it was nice just to take a day away and to be in the temple together. Congratulations Heidi and Steve!

I think I may have created a monster.
I woke up this morning to this.

Yes, Heber was shredding. I ran onto this shredder at the bid sale on campus for cheap and figured I should bring it home. We, like most people, have things that need to be disposed of properly. Little did I know the joy that could be found in a machine that turns crisp sheets of paper into strips.
I think that I could blame it on genetics in this case. Heb's mom is a master shredder in her own right. She would shred for hours, finding the same satisfaction in watching each sheet glide through the opening. After wearing out several wimpy residential shredders, she advanced to the amazo comercial shredder.
Well, I better end this post, I have the strange urge to shred something.
