Life Lately: Spring 2013

We hung up the hammock.  We've entered the two months of beautiful weather before it gets stinking hot and humid.  For this little window, we can actually leave the door and windows open.  The weather is beautiful and we want to be outside.
I danced.  I didn't mess up too much and it was well received.  It felt so good to get out of my comfort zone.  Just because I know you're curious, here's a video.  Most people post videos of their children on their blog, now I'm posting one of me.  Don't make too much fun of me.

I have been working on Mormon Prom.  Here is what it was like last year, so I can only imagine what it's going to be like this year.  I've been creating art deco wall hangings out of cardboard.  Here's the project in progress.  I added the crescent moon so you could see what it would look like.  A few more finishing touches and it will be ready.  Hopefully I can keep Leo off the wet paint long enough to make it happen, ah, life with a toddler.
Leo hopped out of the tub by himself yesterday.  I ran to grab something and he decided he was finished, got himself out and ran down the hall.  I have no idea how he managed to do that.  He does new things everyday.

We have been pulling the house together (and ourselves, when we go off schedule, things are never good) after having some company last week.  I'll write more about the company later.  We've settled back into our routine of playgroups, playgrounds, music groups and friends.
Heber has been practicing dovetail joints.  He's been spending a fair amount of time working in the garage or watching videos to learn more.  He's a continual student, that husband of mine.
Coming up this month, there's more visitors coming our way (something about Spring gets people out here, they must have seen our cherry blossom pictures).  I've joined a fitness challenge and will be teaching another wire coiling class soon.

So, that's the latest.  Hope things are good in your neck of the woods.
