The Big Decisions

Well, the big news here is that we're staying in VA.  At least for a little while.  We have been agonizing about what our next move should be.  Go back to Logan and the same company and all that we know? Stay in DC which is great but a mere 2,000 miles away from our families?  Take a complete shot in the darkness and pick somewhere new and a new company?

This is no small decision.   And it has not been easy.

So, we're staying for a bit longer.  Heber is moving divisions at his job and will be into something new.  A welcome change for him.

Honestly, I have mixed feelings about it all.  I like our life here.  I like being able to see new things.  I like the glass community and our friends.  It's just those moments when I think about how I grew up with my family all around that I'm sad that Leo doesn't get that same experience.  There are pros and cons either way.

When we made the choice to move out here, we literally had 24 hours to make it.  It just felt right.  It leads me to question why some decisions are answered so easily and for others the resolution is hard to reach.  How do you make those big decisions?

To lighten the tone somewhat, we decorated for Easter today.  This little guy loved it.

Well, I for one am glad that you guys are staying!! :) :)
It is strange how some answers are given overnight, but others don't come as easily. When Bryce and I contemplated pretty seriously moving a few months ago, we just didn't feel right either way. So our decision was to just be patient and wait. Now we know why!
I am glad you are just waiting it out and I know something perfect for you guys will come your way.

Super cute decorations! On a more serious note, I can totally relate to your feelings about when/if to move. It's a huge commitment, a lot of work, and a big change. It looks like you guys have really done well carving out your niche there. Who knows what the future holds!
